Welcome to Journey's End Farm! This is where the journey with horses begins for many students, and where the journey ends for our horses, as this will be their forever home. My program is based in understanding the behavior of horses first. Beginners learn safe handling and basic care in 'ground school', then progress to mounted lessons. From there they develop a balanced seat that can move them into any discipline of riding, with emphasis on correctness, biomechanics, and safety. Haul ins are welcome with current Coggins

My personal journey with horses began with "one hourly weekly lesson" and became my life long passion. Teaching horsemanship is teaching more than riding mechanics. As a trainer you are a mentor, an example, and a guardian. I strive to find the unique methods to apply to students so they progress safely and with a genuine understanding of the horse. I say this a lot, but a horse is truly the great equalizer. They can inspire as quickly as they humble a rider, and the lessons they teach influence life out of the saddle as well!

Where do I begin?
Whether you are a beginner 'chomping at the bit' to learn, a rider who has been away from horses for awhile, or a horse owner looking for additional training, Journey's End has something for you!
Classes can be scheduled individually, and paid for on day of class. 60.00 hourly
Clinics are booked in advance and are usually a full Saturday and/or Sunday. Clinics are set up for a variety of instruction. Groundwork, Leadership, Returning to Riding After a Fall, or Introduction to Obstacles and Desensitization are only a few topics covered by Clinics. Check back often to see what is on the calendar!
Packages are 6 week bundles paid in advance. Ground School for new riders is recommended as a package. Progressive lessons can also be bundled at a discounted rate. 6 One Hour Sessions as a package 330.00
PRIVATE OR SEMI PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
60.00 per hour
Lessons are private or semi private. Haul ins are welcome with current Coggins. Please arrive 30 minutes early to prepare. Cancellations require 24 hour notice.
